Vouchercloud, a new iPhone app, is helping make the choice of a 'staycation' in Northamptonshire easier for all budgets. The free app enables visitors to find the best offers local to them and have the associated ‘digital voucher’ delivered to and redeemable from their phone. Along with location (using GPS), vouchers can be browsed by category, such as restaurants, casual dining, shopping, entertainment or days out and so on, and ranked by distance.

Northamptonshire Enterprise and Vouchercloud, have established a Northamptonshire specific series of offers which enable visitors and residents to extend their holiday budgets whilst visiting the region. Local tourism businesses have been offered the free of charge opportunity to promote short term and long term offers on this platform.

Vouchercloud can already be used in over 5,000 outlets across the country. This includes major brands such as Odeon, Giraffe, Tenpin, Prezzo, Hotel du Vin, Strada and Café Rouge. Locally there are currently offers available from the likes of Highgate House (where you can receive 25% off dinner in the Terrace Restaurant), The Kettering Park Hotel and Spa (20% off Langberrys Restaurant) and The Canal Museum at Stoke Bruerne where you can currently get 2-for-1 entry.
